7-Day Goddess Tour Itinerary

 Durga Puja: Sunday, September 28- October 5 (7 days) 

Departure from Home: Saturday, September 27 

Arrival day: Sunday, September 28

9/28 Day 1: Arrival to New Town, integration with classes about Hinduism and Indian culture, cultural training. Yoga & practices and delicious vegan food! Rest after long flight and prepare for Durga Puja! Shopping before stores close.

9/29 Day 2: Rest, morning yoga & practices and saree fittings for Durga Puja! Go to Durga Puja in the daytime to acclimate. Vegan cooking class & group dinner. 

9/30 Day 3: Rest, morning yoga & practices and explore Durga Puja in the daytime to acclimate. 

10/1 Day 4 Maha Navami: Yoga practices, private puja acknowledging Durga’s triumph over evil.

10/2 Day 5 Vijayadashami (Dussehra): Yoga practices, private puja and closing of the festival, goddess returns home, celebrate in Behala.

10/3 Day 6: 2 groups: optional to either Visit Victoria memorial, go for shopping at the Esplanade shops. Other group for med spa/dental treatments. 

10/4 Day 7: Last day! 2 groups: optional to either Visit Victoria memorial, go for shopping at the Esplanade shops. Other group for med spa/dental treatments. Last night fun Gariahat night market & DJ party.

10/5 Day 8/close: Departure, airport transfers arranged for you free of charge :)

EARLY BIRD DEPOSIT: $300 Until June 1

Regular Deposit: $500 After June 1

$1,300 shared room, $1,600 private room

• Initial saree for the Durga Puja goddess celebration (will have ready upon your arrival) 
• Accommodation: private, gated serviced apartments in New Town, Kolkata.
• 3 chef cooked meals a day, occasionally out for food
